A rare pair of V-leg float back chairs in teak, designed by Pierre Jeanneret circa 1960s and made for C.A.H. Dean's office, Chandigarh in 1965—seat and back re-woven with the newer cane. The chair 1 was marked in the back side “Dean’s office-29 Date of Purchase: 28/10/65 CostRs.32”, with “HHCR6” overlapping. The inner side of the front-left leg was also marked “Dean’s Office-29”. The chair 2 was marked in the back side C.A.H. Dean’s office-36 and its left arm was repaired with a metal bonding plate..
